I think real estate is an awesome way to build wealth, and laying it out clearly for people gives me real satisfaction. I love helping people, and I love looking at houses.
Honestly, I'm a little obsessed with nice houses and good craftsmanship. I love new ideas, and I love seeing new builds, creative design, and what a house can become with the right changes.
How I work
Numbers first
I'm a CPA, so I'll walk you through the financial side in plain language: payments, net proceeds, rental cash flow, and the tax questions worth asking your tax advisor.
An investor's eye
My wife and I have flipped homes and own rentals. I look at condition, layout and what a house could become, not just the listing photos.
Straight answers
If I think you should wait, fix something first, or walk away, I'll tell you. No pressure, and no sugarcoating.
Clear from start to finish
You'll know what's next, what it costs, and what decisions are coming, so nothing about the process feels like a surprise.
My background
I'm a small-town North Dakota kid. I got into real estate the old-fashioned way: buying my first investment property in 2019, then flipping homes and buying rentals with my wife, Kat. We moved to Billings in 2020.
My professional background is in corporate finance and financial reporting, and I'm a licensed CPA. I don't prepare taxes for clients. I use that background to help you understand the numbers behind a decision, and I'll point you to a tax professional for your specific situation.
Where I work
All of Billings, from the West End to the Heights, plus Laurel, Lockwood, Shepherd and Red Lodge.
Outside of work
You'll find me on the trails, on the golf course, on the mountain or somewhere in the backcountry, now with our son along for the ride.
